As a work-at-home or work-alone entrepreneur, it’s easy to get sidetracked throughout your day and end up NOT accomplishing those worthwhile things that really matter (and are not yet a habit).
What do I mean by worthwhile things? I’m specifically referring to cash-generating activities.
There are plenty of times where I find myself browsing my stats and doing these “business-related” stuff but then at the end of the day, realizing that I didn’t do much cash-generating activities, and thus, no new income will come in as a result of my “efforts” for the day. That’s not a good feeling.
I think this is really important to grasp. We all need to CLEARLY identify our Cash-Generating Activities from the “Other” Activities. Not that the “other” activities aren’t necessary. They are. But we often get lost in them and end up NOT increasing our bottom line as a result.
With that said, I’m going to get back to working on my cash-generating activities for this afternoon. For me, at the moment, that would be finishing up more keyword research so that I could launch more Adwords campaigns for some new affiliate products, set up landing pages/squeeze pages, and then even put some strategically placed Adsense blocks, etc. You get the point…Achieve more today by learning to identify your money-generating activities and discipline yourself to focus on them!
